Purpose
CAP Forums provide CAP owners/operators the ability to conveniently
post status and maintenance information about their radars.
We encourage CAP owners/Operators to become members of these forums,
and post messages when their CAP station(s) goes down or when a CAP
station comes back on-line.
This way NPN monitoring personnel and anyone else
interested in CAP operations can refer to these forums as a common source
for status information.
In order to post messages to the forums, users must
register to become a forum member. After registering, a user activates their account
by entering a activation code that is emailed the email address provide by user during registration.
Account Activation is merely a means to validate the user's email. Once a member is registered and activated,
they are allowed to post messages to any of the public forums, and view member profiles.
Forum moderation privileges will be granted to CAP owner/operators through requests posted
to the
NPN/CAP Webmaster email address, after credentials have been positively verified.
The forums are categorized
by the name of the organization providing the data. Many organizations provide only
one or two stations, there are others that provide as many as 35 stations.
